Ashley Wilburn, a native of Hagerstown, Maryland, proudly hails from North Hagerstown High School, where she completed her secondary education. Ashley Wilburn's legal career is centered around family law. She has a love for it. She concentrates her practice on divorce cases, alimony issues, marital property division fights over child custody and child support arrangements. She also deals with post-divorce enforcement and post-divorce issues such as step-parent adoptions and private party adoptions, as and concerns regarding child welfare. Ashley has been as a mediator appointed by the court since 2019, assisting parties in helping them resolve their disputes without the needing to litigate or court involvement. Ashley mediates private cases as well as court-appointed mediations for people who want to avoid litigation and court processes.

Ashley completed her undergraduate studies in History and Politics at Loyola University of Maryland. She then pursued her legal education through Western New England University School of Law. When she graduated in 2013, she excelled academically, securing a spot among the top 10 students in her class. Ashley was a Note Editor at the Western New England Law Review during her time at law school. This demonstrates her dedication to scholarship and research in the field of law.

Following the completion of her law degree, Ashley embarked on a clerkship, working for prominent jurists in Connecticut and Maryland. She was fortunate enough to serve as a law assistant for the Honorable Richard A. Robinson at the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Honorable Elliott D. Prescott. In 2014, she returned to Hagerstown Maryland to work as an attorney for the Honorable M. Kenneth Long, Washington County Circuit Court. Ashley joined Poole & Kane P.A. in 2015 as an associate attorney. as an associate attorney. Her primary focus in the firm was to represent the Washington County Department of Social Services in cases which involved child welfare. Through her dedication, Ashley played a vital role in helping children who were victims of neglect or abuse at parent or caregivers. Her commitment to social injustice went beyond her legal profession as she served as a member of the Washington County Human Trafficking Task Force. She was a tireless worker to increase awareness about human trafficking in the tri-state region.

In 2017, she became a founding member of Kane, Wilburn & Stone, P.A., where she developed her practice in the fields of family law such as divorce child support, custody, and guardianships as well for estate planning, such as wills, trusts and powers of attorney, advance directive/healthcare proxies - and mediation.

Ashley created Wilburn Law Office, LLC in 2023. The company was founded with a commitment to providing an individual approach to each client's requirements.
